The agency of the Kyoto city. Kyoto city is a center of Kyoto prefecture, so it has many tourist attractions. They keep tourist attractions very secure to protect historical landmarks. They carry out the maintenance of transportation and offer safety to tourists. They push forward urban development while keeping ancient customs.

Visitors Bureau:
A private organization formed by tourism-related groups and industries in cooperation with Kyoto City, with the aim of encouraging foreign tourists to visit Kyoto. They have 52 members (August 30, 2007) and organize information booths at international travel industry trade fairs and tourism seminars held abroad. By participating in local tourism assemblies with travel agents, and promoting the city to media representatives, they bring more tourists to Kyoto from foreign countries.
It is a umbrella NGO working on international collaborations with other groups suck as Asporong Citizens for Community Empowerment with Sunny Smile, Kyoto YMCA, JIPPO, etc.

A non-profit organization focus on conservation of precious cultural properties and tradition representing Japan by using both digital technology and technique of traditional craftsmanship in Kyto.
Community
Kyoto citizens are important to the tourism industry. They not only provide the products and services to tourists, but they also protect Japanese tradition and culture. They spread abroad the Japanese culture through Kyoto. In fact, many foreign tourists, students and residents who are interested in Japanese culture gather in Kyoto. Kyoto promotes and deepens cultural exchanges and friendship between foreign residents and its citizens. This community maintains Japanese traditional culture and livens up the city life.
